battles reveal great stereotypes.
and pt 2
Is battling just the race to put people in a box they don't want to be in? The closer to reality the roast/insult is, the more effective it is - the ultimate roast being the one that makes your competitor reflect on who they really are and forget about making rhyming labels aimed at their counterpart; this manifests in a choke (see Anthony Mackie for detais). The above two battles seem to be a testament to that thesis.
Fun fact:

Stop whatever you are doing and go see this. Now.
Okay, I didn't see that gay chick flick Titanic, and well the T and A series were pretty good but no Star Wars. True lies- I guess that hack Bruckheimer had something on you, but it was fun. The Abyss was amazing. But this, this cements his position as the Best SCI-FI director ever. I have been waiting for a movie like this for decades. Original, brilliant, classic hero story, multilayered messages, and my god the botany! This man can make a world. He takes the Force from the computer age and heralds our coming biological age. Watch it. Then watch it again. I can't wait for the four hour director's edition.
Oh, and a huge shout out to my high school friend, Joel David Moore. Damn man. Well Done. You made it.

Are you fucking for real?
The description: "Gimme Dat Christian Side Hug."
"Christian youth groups finally have an alternative to normal, aka "front," hugs. As we all know, face to face embraces run the horrific risk of a clothed crotch graze. The Christian Side-Hug (or the CSH, as the kids call it) rids us of sin, as the only below the belt contact will be some good old-fashioned hip on hip action."
Holy shit, This is like, well, fucked up beyond retarded. What the hell is wrong with this country?

I just came across this great movie preview! I find it extra awesome because my computer finally passed away and after much agonizing I decided that the life extending operation was too expensive.
I loved that computer but it had been with me for the worst 2 years of my life. Maybe it was a sign. Oh and did I mention it Vista?
So now I am typing this on a Mac PowerPC. Yep the hipsters finally got me.

MJ
The greatest entertainer of all time has passed. He will be remembered for his legacy of music, dance, eccentricity and controversy...but mostly the first two. Check here for the MJ Discography. Check below for a robot dance compilation.
Many say James Brown sonned MJ, I couldn't think of a more fitting father for the king of pop than the hardest working man in showbiz. Check this clip of MJ with JB.
That being said, Michael then went on to son a whole genre of dancing ass R&B singers (none however that can sing AND dance).
The legacy of MJ has been written. It shall not be forgotten.

In keeping with the "posting white people who can rap, who don't suck balls like Asher Roth" theme, here is your boy from the Bay Dirt MF Nasty.
Been a minute since i saw something from dirt nasty (that 1980 was some crap), but this guy is back, being dirt dumb. His acting is on point too; the reaction to "el guapo" is nice.

And then came the threes...
They used an anvil on the Lakers. And a sledgehammer on San Antonio. And the Trail Blazers steamrolled the Clippers, and Oklahoma City got the business end of Travis Outlaw's jumper. (from highly rec'd John Canzano column)I don't know if you have been following the team in the last few weeks, but the above is a nice summary. So I finally managed to catch a whole game on the tee vee. In fact the final game of the regular season against the division leader Denver. Game seemed resonably close with Portland dominating til the third quarter. Then came the threes. Portland destroyed em. This video doesn't do it justice but check out the score.
Serioulsly, it was embarassing.
I am getting me some playoff tickets.
