The internets have spoken: Clyde "The Glizide" Drexler and "Wild" Bill Walton possesses an equal amount of greatness. To me this is a shock, but if I think long and hard (no homo) about it it makes a ton of sense. Allow for a short breakdown:
- Bill led the 1977 Blazers to their only Championship
- Clyde led the Blazers to two NBA Finals
- Bill is tall
- Clyde is bald
- Bill loves the greatful dead
- Clyde loves to rap (see exhibit A)
- Bill says funny things (e.g. "Tony Parker just made the worst pass in the history of Western civilization!")
- Clyde was on Married With Children with MC Bud Bundy
- Bill was all defensive team
- Clyde was all dunks team
As you can plainly see from teh given evidence, these two both deserve their day in the lemon-lime light (thanks sprite!). Congrats basketball players, you really made a difference.
